Ladysmith U11C teams hosted a year-end Jamboree tourney on June 15. The 3 Ladysmith U11C teams were joined by Oceanside Rage, Campbell River Riptide and the Duncan Firehawks for a 3 game round robin, followed by A / B finals.

Round robin play saw Campbell River finish at the top of the standings, followed by Duncan and the Ladysmith Gold Dinger$ tied in second with 2-1 records, with the tiebreaker going to Duncan.

The Ladysmith High Tide Husslers and Oceanside Rage took home the Challenger Team Awards with their compete in the heat and great plays throughout the day.

The B Finals ended in a tie and was ultimately decided by the most epic base race of the year. Props to the speed burners on the Gold Dinger$ as they narrowly beat out the Strawberry Strikers, therefore taking home the B final.

As for the A Final, Campbell River continued to play solid ball and winning ways as they edged out Duncan Firehawks. Obviously, a base race ensued afterwards with cheers heard halfway up First Avenue.
